- Incoming port – you can enter 587 for SMTP.
In the “Outgoing Server” and “Incoming Server” sections, you can also use a domain email address where your account is. If your account is under a domain like [email protected], this sets up your account automatically to work with 1and1 Webmail. If you prefer to use webmail .co as an Outgoing mail server or webmail. co as an Incoming mail server, make sure that webmail.
- In the “Alias” field, enter your Email address. This will automatically map your email to your sent mailboxes.
For example, if you enter: [email protected] (example), then all emails addressed to [email protected] will be mapped to the user1 account and all emails sent in this account will be redirected to [email protected]@webmail.com (example).
- In the “Email” field, enter a valid email address that is associated with the account (SMTP or domain).
- In the “Outgoing server” field, enter SMTP for the Outgoing mail server (SMTP).
- In the “Incoming server” field, enter 587 for SMTP.
- In the “Email” field, enter a valid email address that is associated with the account (SMTP or domain).
- In the “Outgoing server” field, enter SMTP for the Outgoing mail server (SMTP).
- In the “Incoming server” field, enter 587 for SMTP.
1and1 Webmail will send outgoing messages through port 25 of your ISP’s mail server or your domain server name to its own outgoing mail server. The mail system must be able to receive mail at port 25. After the recommended settings and the adjustments, the email setup will be complete. The process of setting up 1and1 email for outlook is same like typical email address but the difference is the server setting.
