Research Problem

A research problem is a question that a researcher wants to answer or a problem that a researcher want to solve.

Identification & formulation of research problem is the first step of research process.

From the given clues we can formulate research problem in two ways

1. Declarative format

Here the declarative statement is used.

2. Interrogative format

Here the problem is stated in question form.

"What is the influence of knowledge, attitude & barriers of Nursing research among BSc Nursing students in SQU?"

Hypothesis

It is an assumption statement about the relationship between two or more variables that suggest an answer to the research question.

Conceptual clarity

Objectivity

Specificity

Relevant

Testability

Consistency

Simplicity etc

So the most suitable hypothesis here is Non directional, since the study has multiple variables.

" There is a relationship between knowledge, attitude and barriers of nursing research."
