Augmented reality and virtual reality technologies are still in its infancy. Most of the creative energy and thoughts put in virtual reality so far was limited to the realms of gaming and entertainmen but they can also enhance business intelligance.

You have to agree that if there is one thing that piles up in every modern office, it is a whole lot of information .Sticky notes, books, papers, files. Even the person who seems to be the most organized person in your office is bound to get overwhelmed at some point. That is because of the huge amount of data he has to deal with each day.

Collaboration is the primary buzzword in the corporate world.It is a notion that people working together are more productive.Virtual reality can take this collaboration to a level further. No matter how advanced video conferencing has become, there is at least something missing when you look at your coworkers face on your computer screen.

Virtual reality is capable of giving you the ability to gesture and move around freely in virtual environment and collaborate easily with one another like jayson in the first video. The Holographic workstation increases efficiency by using the HoloLens platform to create 3D holograms of real time financial data.A three-tiered system of dynamically updated and interactive information enables traders to view, process, and interact with large amounts of abstract data in a combined 3D and 2D environment.

Virtual reality also improves focus and privacy.You can not only spend your time on a virtual beach but can also work in that environment. The beauty of working in a virtual workplace is that your surrounding hazards have zero impact on your work.

In office environment, augmented reality can be a real game changer.One of the most effective uses of AR that comes to mind is effective task management.Augmented reality helps to integrate physical objects with that of the digital world and vice versa like we saw in the second video.
