Question

1. Reason for subnetting 2. Internet partitioning from routing perspective
1. Reason for subnetting
2. Internet partitioning from routing perspective

Answers

Answer)

1) The main reason for sub netting is to prevent the network congestion. This in turn help to enhance the performance of the network.

2) In the current scenario the internet designs suffer from the network partitioning where the connectivity getting lost is the common problem when routing domain is segregated to different parts even when data forwarding routes exists so as to manage the connectivity. The computation of routes is then made to get divided in a hierarchical manner to make an inter and intra domain routing and protocol meant to be at every level of hierarchy.

Hope this answer helps. :) Happy to help.
