Nike, Inc. is an American multinational corporation that is engaged in the design, development, manufacturing, and worldwide marketing and sales of footwear, apparel, equipment, accessories, and services.
the SWOT analysis of Nike describes the internal factors which shows the strengths and weaknesses of the company and how company can control them. also this analysis shows some external factors in terms of opportunities and threats to its business which can be good if proper strategy implemented to exploit those opportunities and reduce those threats in the external environment.
Like Company has strengths in its brand recognition because it has good global brand image for its products also company involves in low cost manufacturing by outsourcing its manufacturing outside countries where it can have low cost labor.
the weaknesses which company has poor image related to labor practices because this company has image that its workers are not paid fairly and they work more than specified hours and does not get paid which builds a negative image. also company still having low cost manufacturing charges high prices for its shoes and other products.
These are internal factors means Nike company can manage them. for example company can do PR and do CSR activities to improve its negative image into positive one.
