The statement "organization is a consciously coordinated social unit composed of two or more people, that functions on a relatively continuous basis to achieve a common goal or set of goals” means that organization is a place where two or more people come together, perform thier functions, duties and responsibilities in order to achieve the common goal or objective.

Every place can be an organization where people are grouped together to perform functions like planning, organizing, controlling, leading, manufacturing, marketing, sales etc where they have clear specific mission, vision or goal.

for example- I graduated with Law degree and i decide to open a law firm with my friend in partnership where we provide legal advice and legal service to our clients for main objective to earn profit and better customer satisfaction. This law firm is an organization because we two partner came together where we perform basic functions on daily basis so that we can achieve our main goal.

There are several examples of organizations which are based on this definition and we see in our daily lives. for example school, church, NGOs, manufacturing facilities, Consulting firms etc.

Organization is like a structured network of two or more people with duties and responsibilities to perform functions on continous basis wiith a clear view of achieving common goals.

We can say Union which we find in an company is also an organization where union member come together with union leader to do collective bargain and fight for their rights against management for fair wages and safe workplace as common goals.
