If the pressure and temperature of air at the exit of the impeller are found to be (7.702+; -) bar and 40°C, find the 100 specific work (kJ/kg) and power input to the compressor in kW. The impeller rotates at 9000 RPM. The tangential (whirl) component of velocity at the inlet to the impeller may be assumed to be negligible. Take R=0.287 kl/kg.K [6 Marks)
