How would you educate your staff on changes in healthcare, regulations, and guidelines?

Create an in-service that discusses one regulation that your department must follow. You are not allowed to use HIPAA for a topic. Choose another topic, important to HIM. Use PowerPoint or Prezi to create your in-service. Use the audio features of PowerPoint/Prezi to record your voice while presenting. Provide references in APA format.

Like we update our phones to function more nicely and smoothly and for better outcome ,in the same way we need to update our knowledge and upgrade our practices and this upgradation and advancement is only possible when we regularly update our knowledge and skills . For this , the administration should organise education and training sessions ,seminars , group discussion etc about new practices. research findings etc so that the healthcare workers can apply the same into practice .

Best things is to have is to a group discussion along a PowerPoint presentation about the new initiative and start the topic with a question and take the suggestions from them and rationalize it and make them aware where they lack and how to function properly with the new knowledge and findings . In our institution ,there was a new initiative of using health informatics in patient care . We used the same method to implement these changes . Had a group discussion along with PowerPoint presentation to explain its functionality and it's benefits to the health care and for patients, and took suggestions from them ,this makes them feel respected and their ideas and thoughts and help to work in a team and also in this they learn easily and apply the amendments into practice .
