Read the below and respond with your opinion. To me, self-care is both physical and mental care. It's something that we need in order to make sure that we are in a healthy mindset and that we are improving ourselves in better ways. Self- care is something that I would focus on for myself or to better my lifestyle For me, when it comes to physical self-care, doing small things like a face mask or getting your nails done can really make a difference with my mindset. I always feel better out myself and there's always this wave of happiness and confidence that comes to me after doing those things. As for mental self-care, every single night I sit outside, listen to music and read. While I do this I make sure that I am only listening to music on myself, that I'm not replying to texts or looking at any notifications on social media. That little time I make for myself, to pull myself away from the outside world, is one of the most loving and most meaningful things I do for myself. The food for thought is a great way to incorporate self-care through the online course. Whenever the workload feels like too much, the poems on the food for thought folder can be a great tool to step away from stressful school work. It's also important to manage your time so you don't feel suffocated in the workload.
