1. In an organisation to work properly and efficiently it needs team work. An organisation can not work alone it has many sub divided departments to deal with concerned areas so that work is done efficiently . In the same way there are many field in public health which are interdependent on each other so that they can provide a better care and services to their consumers . There are various departments under public health and they are handed over certain tasks to be done like in a hospital we have , laboratory , pathology , surgical unit ,medicine unit ,etc all these department work together and provide their services to the patients . Example - For the diagnosis to be confirmed ,doctor has to work with the laboratory , pathology and microbiology department and after that treatment is started ,these medicines are supplied from the pharmacy ,then if there is any surgical implications then a consultation is send to surgery department and doctors from there conduct the surgery after reviewing and determining the need for surgery etc .

2. The study of public health microbiology means a study which focuses on the microbial pathogens , principles of public health , epidemiology , virology , environmental and industrial microbial processes.

Medical microbiology is the same as clinical microbiology . It deals with the study of microbes such as bacteria ,viruses, fungi , parasites etc which cause illness and their role in disease .
