Use the PRECEDE-PROCEED model to describe how you might implement an intervention that aims to increase condom use by men for HIV prevention purposes.

PRECEDE-PROCEED model is the health pormotion model created with the basic aim of assessing the health needs that helps in designing, implementing and evaluating health promotion. PRECEDE provides the organized structure for planning as well as PROCEED refers to implementing the planned guidance and strategies for health promotion.
It is usually seen that despite of various efforts run globally to aware people regarding risky sexual bheaviour and its consequences in form of HIV and AIDS, the people still indulge in risky behaviours sexually leading to enhanced rate of HIV. These behaviours include discouraging the use of condoms, social denial, and low sucesptibility to diseases. If it can be evaluated it is evident that use of condom and behaviour towards its use is acommon issue that can be controlled and provide better outcomes. Using PRECEED-PROCEED model for condom use strategy is applicable in a sense that-
the leaders, community rulers and government associations should be able to plan the drives and programs for free condom distribution. This planning would be considered under preceeding section and the implementation of this strategy by providing free condoms for community and individual through stalls, dispatch machines etc. would be proceeding value of the plan.
