## Question

###### 2. Give an example of a data set with 6 numbers where the mean is 15...

## Answers

Dear student, we can provide you with solution of one type of question at a time. Here I am doing 2 for you.

2) You require 6 numbers

Mean shoudbe 15. That means the total of 6 numbers should be 6*15=90.

Now if you arrange 6 numbers in the arranging order the median will be the average of the middle two numbers that is the 3rd and 4th number

Median should be 10, that means the sum of 3rd and 4th number shall be 10*2=20

Now say A , B , C , D, E, F are the 6 numbers in the arranging order

C + D = 20

So C = 8

D = 20

Now A + B + E + F =90-20 =70

A and B are less than 8 so say A = 6 & B = 7

now E + F =70-13 =57

E = 26

F = 31

So the number set are 6,7,8,12,26,31

3) Here you can just calculate the range

Smallest range will have the smallest standard deviation

B will have the smallest standard dviation
