Home health care agencies are those licensed agencies which helps older adults an illness or injury so that they can overcome their health issues and live happy. Home health care mainly include physical therapy,skilled nursing, and speech therapy. There is a thine line of different between
home health care and home care services, where health care agencies provide medical facilities where as home care are mainly domestic service in nature.
As name it self sounds usually home health care is provided at patients home by the professional or skilled nurse at convenient and less expenses but the quality of service is equal to hospital or skilled nursing facility.
quality improvement organizations (QIOs) regularly conducts the Home Health Quality Improvement campaign ,here individuals or agencies take part and provides medical care or even they work individually or in collaboration with hospitals to provide quality services to needy patients and to prevent hospital readmissions.

  • Obtain medicaid and medicare certificate to get licence to run agency
