Also several milestones have helped to bring attention to mental health conditions and interventions, for example, the implementation of SAMHSA.gov. What are the opportunities and challenges long- term care and mental health services create for health care administrators now and beyond. What knowledge and skills do the health care administrators and nursing home administrators need to have in order to meet the challenges of these two service types?

Their main responsibility to provide quality care for residents includes medical and personal care, supervision of staff in all the departments. their competence and leadership skills, adaptability, ethical skills, communication create meaningful health care facilities for older populations. they should have knowledge of physical and mental effects of the aging process to implement care and treat residents with a standard of living.
