The theory of Planned Behavior is a theory in psychology that links one's beliefs and behaviour.There are three constructs such as intention toward attitude,subject norms and perceived behavioural control helps to perform a behaviour.
Attitude toward behaviour : The theory of planned behaviour specifies the nature of relationships between beliefs and attitudes. People's attitudes toward behaviour are determined by beliefs about behaviour.
Normative beliefs and subjective norms
. Normative belief: an individual's perception of social pressures or other beliefs should not perform such behaviour.
. Subjective norm: an individual's perception about particular behaviour which is influenced by judgment of others
like arents, spouse, friends and teachers.
Perceived behavioural control : an individual's difficulty of performing particular behaviour.It is assumed
that perceived behavioural control is identified by total set ofcontrol beliefs.
