The automotive factory of T-SLA in Xinjiang is manufacturing two models: model S and model X. Each model S requires 100 nuts and 140 bolts, while each model X requires 70 nuts and 100 bolts. The factory receives 8,000 nuts and 11,400 bolts each day. The factoy manager Mr. XaeA-12 Mask is asking you as to how many cars of each model this factory can manufacture each day, while using all these parts that are available ? NOTE: You should use Matrices and when necessary use Row-Operations if you have to invert the Matrices in the problem.

A bag of mixed nuts contains cashews, pistachios, and almonds. Originally there were 900 nuts in the
bag. 30$\%$ of the almonds, 20$\%$ of the cashews, and 10$\%$ of the pistachios were eaten, and now there are 770 nuts left in the bag. Originally, there were 100 more cashews than almonds. Figure out how many of each type of nut was in the bag to begin with.

Here. So my 1st 1 stays the same. 2nd 1 stays the same. Negative. 1/3 time. 00 Negative. 1/3 time. 00 Negative. 1/3 time's the negative. Three is one. Still have a negative. 500. Still 1400 and negative. 1/3 times negative. 1800 is 600. Okay. How? We have a negative one and a two so we can use that third row to help us? No. So how can I get a zero in that first row in that last column? Well, I can add it to the 3rd 1 So I'm gonna take my row one and add it to my row three. And how can I get my two to be a zero? Well, I can do row two and I can multiply the third row by negative to some minus two row three. So row one plus row 31 plus zero is 10 plus 00 negative. One plus 10 Which is what we awesome what we wanted. Negative 500 plus 600 gives us 100. We're doing something right, because it's a positive answer, and you can't have negative nuts. Okay, Row two minus two row three. So zero minus two times zero would give us zero one minus two times zero would give us one Tu minus two times one would give us zero. Awesome. And next we have 1400 minus two times 600 which will leave us with 200 in the last row. Stays the same and we have our answer. So because we want an order from a C to P, this means we have 100 almonds, 200 cashews and 600 pistachios. That's your final answer.

In this problem, I have a matrix that is representing production levels for a company and I need to find the new production levels whenever the current ones in my matrix are decreased by 10%. So when it says decreased by 10% What we currently have is 100%. And when we decrease it by 10% we are left with 90%. So I want to know what is 90% of my current levels, 90% of my current matrix. We are not multiplying these numbers by 90, we are multiplying them by .9 or 9, 10 or 9000s. So we're just gonna take that for each number and multiply it by .9. So my new matrix is 90, Then 120 times nine is 108, And then 60 times .9 is 54. 40 times nine is 36, 140 times .9 is 126, 160 times nine is 1, 200 times .9 is 1, 80 and 80 times .9 is 72. This is our new matrix showing our new production love.

All right. So this question we are manufacturing golf balls. Um, we know we're gonna make 10,000 balls. So the first equation X plus y plus Z would have equal 10,000 says the number of eagles and birdies. So please, those is the 1st 2 X plus y. It says the number of them equals the number of the third type. And it says that they make more birdies than eagles. So why equals three X would be that relationship now that I know that I could do a little work Now you can solve this system using your subtraction, but I see an easier path. I know that this can go here, so Z is actually equal. Two x plus is actually equal forex. So why is equal to three X and Z is equal to forex. So if I substitute those in X plus three X plus or X equals 10,000 then I know I have eight X equal to 10,000 and the number of those golf balls is 1250. Why was three x? So it was three times 1250 which waas 37 50 and Z is four times that which is 5000. And there are over three amounts. Goebbels
