Ah, and this problem gives us four molecules and asks us to come up with the AIPAC names for each of these four molecules on. And so these four molecules are all carb oxalic acids. And so, in naming them, um, what we need to bear in mind eyes that we need to number the Corbin That's part of the carb oxalic acid as carbon number one. Ah, and then we need to be sure to find the longest chain on and then just name substitue Ince's. We would, uh, whenever we do. Are you packed? We have a meth a group because, remember, we do need to name this as the longest possible chain. Ah, and so Well, actually, end up calling this, um, a non OIC acid s 09 carbon acid. Um, and it's gonna be dime Ethel. So 68 dime Ethel. Um, And then remember, we put the substitutes in alphabetical order. So this is going to be four Ice of problem. Four ice. A problem. Six aids dime Ethel Nano gas it Non oic acid. Okay. And, ah, that's the answer here again. And remember, we just need to make the carb oxalic acid carbon number one number the longest chain, Uh, and then just name our substitute mints, Um, And where they are on the chain. And that's the answer to Chapter 19. Problem number one.
